About Us PDF Print E-mail
InsideOut was formed in 1996 to provide a wide range of training and development opportunties both inside and out. We don't teach people anything - we help people discover for themselves.

This approach we call "experiential learning."

ex-peri-ence n. practice in doing something; knowledge or skill gained by this. -v.t. feel or have an experience of.

learn·ing n. The act, process, or experience of gaining knowledge or skill.

InsideOut encourages individuals to develop the latent potential that exists within us all.

Scenario based activity and full participation reviews are combined to foster a positive learning environment that is action based, and continually stimulating.

The learning cycle emanates from a single experience that is reviewed and reflected upon, enabling participants to draw conclusions that can be applied when meeting new experiences.

This process encorages individuals to overcome their own personal challenges in a climate of support and trust from other group members.

We focus on peoples innate ability to find out about themselves, the people that live and work with them and their intimate relationship with their environment.

The outdoors is used as a powerful metaphor to ensure the transfer of learning to the real world. It is this strong belief in the intrinsic value of experiential learning that underpins everything we do.
